Wow, it's actually 'cold' here, it's almost 9 a.m. and I can't open the front door, it's too windy and cold. Twelve degrees out, going to just over 20.

It's overcast, not nearly as humid and we actually had a little rain!
Last night it was so hot upstairs my husband, youngest daughter and I camped out in the livingroom. My older two girls are at their grandparents and when they found out they asked if we could ALL camp out there again next week!!

Cool, green and quiet. Usually the grass in Vancouver is green in the winter and dead and yellow in the summer. Not so this year. Anything that thrives in a cool and moist climate is doing very well here right now.

Wow, this happened so quickly...we have a sudden thunderstorm...the wind just started raging, and the sky turned black...ran to shut all 18 windows, just in time....if I had a waterproof camera I coudl take some amazing pics of the lighthouse right now...the water is just a swirling dark mess...pretty cool looking.
