..OMG, think I just drooled a little at all the +20 temps....currently -3 feels like -6 sunny, mild evening. We have a snow system moving in for tomorrow night and there's good news & bad news. The good news is, if the low pressure swings one way we will get 10-15cm, however, the bad news, if it swings another way we could get 25-30cm. INSANE!! but at least it won't stick around, hopefully...not too long anyway

WINTER STORM WARNING

Heavy snowfall and high winds are expected. Snow, heavy at times, and strong northerly winds are expected to develop overnight tonight or Wednesday morning ahead of a storm approaching from the east. Total snowfall accumulations by Thursday morning are forecast to range from near 15 cm over the northern Avalon to 35 cm over inland sections of Northeastern Newfoundland. Winds are forecast to gust to between 80 and 110 km/h Wednesday afternoon and evening. This combination of strong winds and heavy snow may reduce visibilities in blowing snow Wednesday and Wednesday night. Precipitation is forecast to taper to flurries or drizzle by Thursday morning. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult.
