Well my luck finally ran out.
After missing the rain storms all summer
I got drenched on the bike by a passing streamer.
Rain drops the size of basketballs (well almost)
had to drive down the center of the rivers ..... I mean roads.

An early-season fall-like storm is forecast to bring wet weather on Monday followed by a period of strong winds on Tuesday.

Forecast guidance indicates an area of low pressure emerging from Quebec will rapidly intensify as it tracks across Newfoundland. Rain is expected to arrive on the west coast of the Island by late Monday morning and then spread eastward during the day. Current indications suggest the rain will be heaviest along a swath from the Bay of Islands to the Bay of Exploits, where total amounts may exceed 40 mm. The rain will taper off early Tuesday, but strong northerly winds will develop behind the departing system, with gusts potentially reaching 90 km/h or higher along Newfoundland's northeastern coast. Winds will ease later Tuesday as the storm moves away.
