I am going to start and plan more now that I am couponing, I am not the type to run to every single store because one or two things are pennies cheaper. I am going to try and shop in bulk on weeks that have giftcard promo on.

I only wish I could get 220.01$ worth of groceries. I spend 10$ - $30 a week on groceries if that.

my mom always comes homes from items from RCSS like a turkey or two boxes of mandrain oranges or a huge sheet cake that was marked down to 50% off then changed at the till for 5cents...
10-30$ sounds like eating for one person or a large deep freeze freezer with other items...Live, Love, Laugh

How does it get changed at the till for 5 cents? I buy 50% breads ect. from RCSS too but never get that good of a markdown.

I don't think that's the case... I used to work at RCSS in Calgary and we did not use the coupon unless the total without the item was over $250. Perhaps it is just your store?

I'm getting free gift cards for Amazon just doing my day to day internet searching!!
http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/forgiftcards and also for completing surveys at Opinion Outpost!!

read the coupon. I don't have a free product one handy because it is a gift card week(which is an exempt item from this deal)- but it says that with coupon and purchase of $XXX dollars before tax and exemption garble you will get the item (value $XXX) free. The cashier has to scan in the free item. The price of the item is added to your bill and then deducted when the cashier scans the coupon. The simple math would be that your total can include the value of the free item because it will be deducted as a FPC. I do this all the time. A store really cannot argue that the bill has to be $250 before taxes and before the free item value. You are BUYING the free item. I would put up a huge stink if a store told me that I HAD to spend that extra $$$. The coupon states it quite well how the offer works.

I'm glad I'm not the only crazy person doing this.
We use bread only on the weekends for breakfast so I go to RCSS on Friday night and pick up the pink stickered bread and we use it on the Saturday & Sunday.
The dates are usually good for wayyy past the weekend anyway and I haven't found any suspicious looking breads so far.
I love this because I usually pick up the pink stickered Wonder Invisibles at 50% off and then I use my $0.75 coupons and end up paying $0.25 or much less for a loaf depending on the markdown.Last edited by Sunraven; Tue, Dec 15th, 2009 at 08:42 AM.
