Today was our city's food drive. DH surprised me by going to the community center and asked that they come to our house with a truck because we had many items to donate.
You should have seen their faces when they came to pick everything up. We live in a rural, small town with lots of farmers and elderly so this year has been particularly hard. The volunteers kept saying thank you to us. It was so nice to hear them be so greatful. It really made me feel good.
