The spammers were active today. I've noticed that Thursday does seem to be a more active day especially for the movie download spammers.

Personally I like being able to explain to the mods what I'm objecting too in a post.

Boo actually suggested about giving flyer points to the second person who posts the clearer pics. I think it only adds more confusion - 2 flyer posts for each store in the deals section.

I see that flyers start rolling in starting tuesday, if the first person posts on tuesday and the second version comes out by Wednesday that's fine. What if the first version was posted on Wednesday? Most of the flyers are available on store's website by that midnight and i will post them in the flyer section by Thursday morning. We don't have to wait much for the clear images

It's a great idea to award gift cards when SCers post weekly flyers early. It's a lot of work that SCers do and I appreciate it.

Sometimes it is hard to see the flyer items and prices - a page or two is not too bad, but when it's the whole blurry flyer, people will need glasses soon.

Could you please change the criteria to be, gift cards are awarded for flyers with clear pictures? Or, will you allow another SCer to post a second version of the flyer, if the first version is not blurry?

Just wondering why it still takes 40+ seconds between reporting threads?
There's spammers that drop by often, and it's tedious having to wait between reporting those threads.

Is there a way of just reporting that user, period, with an explanation as to why?

yes when you are reporting a spammer you can say "spammer x4" ect then we can just click on them and remove all their posts when banning them ...

I dunno, how hard is it to take a clear picture? I find blurry pics to be pretty useless because for meat, fish, etc you can't tell what the heck it is. Not everyone is after packaged goods that you can recognize at 100 ft in a fog.

For me this is definitely an issue, I do the produce deals so need the fine print to see if meats are boneless, or in a tube or frozen etc

But I still do appreciate the people that upload them early, yes we can get HQ versions on Thursday morning but that leaves Anne and I working on deals threads all day on Thursday. If we can do a little each day, it makes life easier for us.

The problem with reps is that it was an add-on made for the old forum software. The person who made it has not made a new version for the new vB software. There are other rep add-ons but it would mean everyone starting again.

Boo does have someone looking into it, but since its not easily fixed on the SC end...

I think this is a bad idea because people can abuse it in so many ways. People can create multiple accounts just to like their own brags or offer giveaways to people who like their brags. Then a MOD would have to go threw making sure that each 50 "likes" were legit accounts. I think that the flyers posted early to earn GC's is generous enough.

Glad this issue has been addressed so people atleast know about it. Its kinda annoying but not a major complaint of mine.

reps have been fixed?? i got a rep today and it showed that i had ONE rep not TWO.. i won't mention the fact that when i clicked on it to read the rep it took me right to the top of the list rather than having to scroll through all of the threads.... i've posted in...... oh wait, never mind.. i just mentioned it.. shall i do a happy dance?
