Something has to be done about those frickin' spammers.. I mean seriously! Yeah, yeah, you'll tell me to report one thread from each spammer that I see and they'll be banned. It should never get that far. Something should be in place to prevent them from getting that far in the first place! AND NONE OF THEM HAVE GOOD GRAMMAR!! So frustrating...

All forums have rules that you can break and be banned for a short periods of time or forever. It's up to the admins to decide if you're totally out of line or not.

People shouldn't be joking about being banned unless they want to be removed from the board all together. That's what I did when I was adminning my boards.

Let me preface by saying the only thing I find difficult about the site is finding things on it. Still learning.

I know I would love more specified deals. Example:

- This week (April X to X) @ No Frills, the Sunlight detergent 3.97 PM, use 2.00 insert dated...and get for $ 1.97. Also explaining the sizes because like in my case I don't receive NO FRILLS flyer.

- A PM example: tutorial. Went to RCSS, I do not hae a current phone to show cashier so what to do if no phone, print-out and show what to print,sometimes the sales date is not on the page...what they will accept. (show what to print) visual.

- Guidelines as to what is a good deal?, Air fresheners, paper towels, TP.

- Buy 3 save 5.00 ? what is the best math on that and examples.

- Shopping sheet masters with DATE/ITEM/DETAILS/QUANTITY/PM from
where/ flyer/sale price/regular price.

- Better deals of the week and where.

- Videos on how to. (like the CZ zone coupons and Manufacture coupons if
both matching criteria your WM might honour it.) Like the QUANTUM CZ
coupons, for dishwasing packs and laundry tabs. Use 2.00 insert from date:
___ AND Cz and PM Freshco at 4.99 and get them for 99 cents for the criteria of 20 tabs pack.

-Features explaining better where to find stuff. Beginners start here Feature. It is easy if you know how to navigate already but not if you are new or still learning. Maybe an index like a HELP button like in Microsoft that you can type and it gies you options.

-I refer a few times to the < competing site removed> (similar to SC and they outline so many basics that really could help so much for beginners to seasoned SCers). It would increase traffic and interest.

So many people ask me, and I mean alot..with my binders and I know as many other SCers get asked and I always refer them to here to start their journey because I meet so many people that want to save and don't even know about PM - yeah. I give them coupons that apply to their cart as much as I can and people in line and cashiers and there is so much information and not enough resources. You are one of the few that offer quality, dependable, reliable information that really helps. But I do realize that there is a huge learning curb and like the trading thread does not explain a broader picture? Sure you have coupons, who would want my coupons? how do I do this? where do I go? the bigger picture of after you have all the coupons, your wish list is current and there is no where to go but a higher level of trading, the importance of scorring points at SDM, Sobeys, explain how those work, the point values versus the financial values and give examples of scenarios that apply that week. Do this scenario to get these points is it worth it. What is the difference between all the various scenarios of SDM, buy 50.00 and get this.., what is better if I redeem points weekend?

I know these a basic to someone who knows what they are doing but it takes a while and I still don't know about these things and quite frankly don't know when I will but it will be there when I am ready.

-Various vegetables, products this month/season.

- Maybe a wish thread that SCers can ask for coupons -because I would not be surprised that major companies are reading and getting their information form their promotions and tracking and looking for any opportunity to sell more.
A thread of What would you like a coupon for: Vegetables, Fruits, Gluten Free, Lactose free examples.

At this point it seems to be more of a voluntary site with SCers proviing information, which is wonderful but maybe more input from the creators posting leads and deals hourly and SC input.

Again not complaining, just suggestions. That might just bring in more traffic and interest.

Hope you don't lock me out of Smartcanucks because of my honesty. Your team - entire team has helped my family so much and I will and am forever grateful and I haven't been couponing for very long but have saved so much and I have you to thank for. If you need anything, elaboration...yeah right !!!

Following one too many "woe is me!...you're all soooo meaaaan..I'm leaving and never coming back" multi-page threads where other posters would beg that one to stay, we took to insitutating a new rule which paraphrased said...if you post about leaving, don't be surprised to find your account blocked and the thread locked...saved a hell of a lot of drama-llamas.

Mind you we don't seem to have much in the way of that kind of behaviour here.

I am not having that issue on any browser, it may be that a page didn't load fully then saved the half loaded page in your computer's memory. Try pressing Control + F5 together to clear the memory of the pages (but not any passwords etc) and let me know if it is still happening and I will have Boo look into it
