Hi guys, I went ahead and started a petition. The link is http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/mturk/ . The only thing is for some reason the link isn't working. It may have to be approved first. I've contacted customer service and am waiting for a reply. Just thought I'd let you know so we don't have another petition started and we have more than one going. When I know the link is working I will start a new thread for it.

Yah, I would sign if it were working. I think it's odd that workers in the US get paid cash, workers in India get paid cash, but we get Amazon. I feel like a second-rate citizen when it comes to mturk.

I find it strange that mturk hasn't made any improvements pretty much since it's inception. They don't even have the very basic function to exclude search terms when searching for HITs, which would really help when you're going through 30 pages of transcription HITs.

I am so frustrated with amazon.com-- there's this really awesome pair of boots I want, and they don't ship to Canada.

For me it's not worth it as I always hit a snag when I want to buy something. It's very frustrating! I figure if they pay India with cash they can pay us. Will let you know when I hear back from customer service regarding the link. They must be closed on the weekends.

I don't really mind...I travel quite a bit to the US and have family there, so just ship things when I am traveling or they are coming up.

If anyone International wants to sign it, they can. Just put a comment in the Comments section saying you would like all International countries to be included. I didn't know at the time there were 200 international countries also working for Mturk.

Mturk Foodista's HITs are great- 10 cents to write and answer a food question from an article. He/she approves and pays super fast.

Just a heasd up about PED Research- the b*stards block you if you fail a hit.
I got a warning email from mTurk saying that PED blocked me from doing anymore of their hits.
I only did 1. It was rejected.It was some sort of decision making study for $0.20, and apparently my answers weren't good enough- funny considering they were asking MY opinion.
I've done over 7000 hits, and am pissed about this!

What hits is everyone doing? I was doing photomod but since they haven't had any in forever I haven't done any others. Would love to make some extra amazon money for Christmas.
