It took me a little less than 2 months to earn $300! It kinda sucks that with the amazon site some prices are high, but with minimal OOP cost it makes up for the prices! Find what you are comfortable with. There is always transcriptions or question writing HITS, and my favorite- Photomod (you click on the unsuitable photos ie:) I've kinda slacked off on it now, but we are thinking about saving up for the Black Friday/ Tech Monday Sales that will be coming up soon!

Oh, and the ProdUniverse matching product hits for 10 cents are super easy, and it's great pay for a minute or two of work.

No, they're still around- just once in a while.

You are supposed to pay both, but whomever processed my package for the border marked it as a personal camera- which is apparently exempt (?!?) from duties...it cost about $55 with everything for me to get it by courier. I figured being a computer the extra security of courier vs reg. post was worth it!

I just hit the $200 mark. I'm having a problem now though, because amazon payments is asking me to verify my account by entering my SSN, which I obviously don't have.
I really don't want to switch my location to Canada and lose access to some of my favorite HITs.

Well if you don't want to give them the tax information and you don't want to switch to Canadian status, I would highly suggest that you drain the money out of your account...I have read on another site of people having their accounts locked. Not worth missing some of your favorite hits IMO

I think thats the issue though MD, shes trying to drain the money out of the account, but is being asked to provide a SSN before being allowed to do so, and the only way for her to cash out is to enter that shes actually from Canada.
@iAmBrendaLee, theres no way around it unfortunately, your going to either have to fill in the tax form, which means changing your status to Canadian, or risk losing the money you've built up, because as MD stated, they will lock your account.Last edited by kirkeastment; Fri, Aug 20th, 2010 at 02:14 PM.

I switch my money over to Amazon.com several times/ day just in case. I generally keep a balance of $0 on Amazon Payments. I wonder how long before they'll lock my account. Once they do, I'll have no choice but to switch my mturk location to Canada.
Anyone else having that issue with Amazon Payments- them asking for a SSN? Man, I wish Amazon Payments would open themselves up to Canadians.Last edited by iAmBrendaLee; Sat, Aug 21st, 2010 at 03:34 AM.

I would personally close out the account asap.
