Prayers/good thoughts for my Mom please! :)

Greetings SC Friends!

I'm taking my mom to the hospital tomorrow at 11:30 Atlantic time, to check in for a surgery. She has hydracephalus, excess fluid on her brain that is putting pressure on her brain, affecting her walking and her thinking.

She is having a shunt put in to drain the excess fluid into her abdominal cavity. From what I've read, it's really not that bad of a surgery and has a high rate of success (success mostly being, it halts the progress of the symptoms, and *maybe* makes it a bit better). But it's still scary to think about a surgeon putting something around your Mom's brain!

So, I'm asking for prayers if you believe in such things, good thoughts if you don't.
