Prayers/good thoughts for my Mom please! :)

Update!

We were going to leave the house at about 10:30, to get there on time. Mom has had nothing to eat or drink since before midnight, is nervous, hungry and thirsty.

At 10:20, the phone rang. It's the doctor's office. There's no beds, the surgery is CANCELLED! Only about an hour before she's supposed to be checking in, and they discover that there's no beds? AUGH!

I had to borrow two vacation days from next year in order to get enough time to go with her. She got a relative to drive her up here from Cape Breton, four hours away, to be here for this. And it's off!

I'm just boggled, I just can't believe it!

Hoping your mom's procedure gets rescheduled soon. Will pray she stays healthy and well until she goes in again! Stay sane! Doctors and the things they say can be so stressful sometimes!

Ah, that's just so frustrating! The same thing happened to my BFF two weeks ago..all prepped for bunion surgery for 1pm, then told it would be an hour later, then told to go home, it was cancelled. No explanation, nothing.
She's actually in surgery now as I type this....

I hope she get rescheduled quickly..it doesn't sound like something that could keep for a long time, like elective surgery. GEEZ those hospitals don't give a dam what we all have to go through to rearrange our lives for surgery!!! It's just criminal.

Sorry for the misfortune, unfortunately it is too commonplace.
I pray that the surgery can be rescheduled soon, and that in the meantime steady as she goes.
