VW has managed to boost output of the 8.0-liter W16 engine to 1,183 horsepower and torque to 1,106 pound-feet.

Got anything for a mid-life crisis on a budget?

My father got a Nissan Pulsar...that his daughter promptly claimed for Fri & Sat night cruising. Of course, that only lasted a week - my friends whined about having to climb into the back & the lack of leg room. So, we went back to cruising in my Jetta. Loved flirting with carloads of boys & seeing the looks on their faces when we left them in the dust. Never went over the speed limit, but that car had acceleration to die for.
