Ricki911 - I feel you! I had the same experience and had to pay cancellation charges as I feared my two cheques would be cashed. The second time I sent it through courier. Can you send them another cheque through courier so you know if they received it or not or do they need you to pay in person?

I was thinking about that but its the person at the front desk who signs then takes it to the department. So I will go down and make them sign in person. I will then have a sign note. My friend said get the supervisor to sign as well. Its just irritating and frustrating to say the least. Plus, they would tell you you didnt pay it after teh deadline and come July when I renew my plate you cant until its paid so it would be a few hundred by then.
