Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

Monday's going to be busy (coffee with a friend in the morning, then the funeral, early dinner with another friend then theatre that night). I'll either be up all night Mon talking to one of my friends, or deal with the grief on Tues. We'll see how things go.

I'm still processing my friend's death, but things are getting better. My parents have dropped by twice, bringing me comedies to watch to brighten my mood, & I have friends & neighbours constantly checking on me. I feel guilty that I take these friendships for granted. I'm going to have to make a point of letting everyone know how much I apprectiate having them in my life. <clipped>

I was up late last night, spying on some visitors. Apparently, Nikita had to save the world (at least my street) from the bad guys with a car chase or two. Lily dog found it highly amusing.

I baked some shamrock shaped cookies for the neighbour doggies. When I went to put them in the lobby, I ran into a newish neighbour who stopped dead & shouted, "YOU'RE the cookie lady!!!" It was all I could do to keep from doubling over laughing.

Some friends are dragging me out to a beading show tomorrow to make sure I don't spend too much time alone (my friend's funeral is Mon). I was thinking about you the other day!! I need to know this place you always go for theatre! I have a roommate and we are looking for places for May move in so it seems like I might finally be closer to getting an affordable place! Just applied to my Pet First Aid & CPR course and will have to wait for it to come in the mail. Been working all this week at my seasonal job (which means more money for me), and will work 2 days this coming week.

In two weeks my parents will be in Florida and I will be babysitting the animals.
