Yes, but it feels like a Monday!

I just got back from a matinee full of texting students. We decided the lesser of two evils was to let them text - the talking was far worse. Teachers weren't overly helpful - it was so bad that calls were made to the school principal. I think we should have sent notes home to the kids' parents. I know if my parents ever got such a note, my life would have been over (they were firm believers in the notion that if their child talked back she would never speak again ).

But there were some good kids there too. It's a shame they all have to be lumped together.
