New prizes:
If You Were Here (book)
Told in the uproariously entertaining voice readers have come to expect from Jen Lancaster, If You Were Here follows Amish-zombie-teen- romance author Mia and her husband Mac (and their pets) through the alternately frustrating, exciting, terrifying-but always funny-process of buying and renovating their first home in the Chicago suburbs that John hughes's movies made famous. Along their harrowing renovation journey, Mia and Mac get caught up in various wars with the homeowners' association, meet some less-than-friendly neighbors, and are joined by a hilarious cast of supporting characters, including a celebutard ex- landlady. As they struggle to adapt to their new surroundings- with Mac taking on the renovations himself- Mia and Mac will discover if their marriage is strong enough to survive months of DIY renovations. Click here for more details!

A Dazzling Display Of Dogs (book)
From the award-winning team behind A Curious Collection of Cats comes a new collection of visual poems celebrating all things canine—from obedience school, to backyard break outs, to flatulent Fidos. Whether your best friend is a plucky Jack Russell, an indecisive basset hound, or a poodle with an indiscriminate appetite, you're sure to find this dazzling display doggone delightful. Thanks Noodge, Anne99, frugallady19, and leftie for today's code postings.
Question on how the "rep" thing works here. I'm used to boards where you either "thank" one's post (with no restriction) or "tip" it (using points you earned by posting yourself). So far I have managed to spread rep to a good number of you (not sure I like how that sounds :D), but haven't been able to repeat the feat for anyone -- nor do I know what good it's for anyway...?

I thought this was only for Americans but I just noticed its Canadians too.
Is it worth doing -- I've heard it takes a loooonnnng time to redeem a prize?
Love to have the scoop from someone who has been doing it for a while.
