Natalka, we need to figure out what handy product could line your mailbox and dry any wet mail that gets delivered. The only thing that comes to mind is those dessicant packages you see in shoes boxes for leather shoes-you'd have to maybe keep them at one end so the warning symbols don't scare your letter carrier away...

I had to (swagbuck) search what this was , ahhhh, those DO NOT EAT silica gel packets. Speaking of wet mail boxes, does anyone else use their (former) milk door as theirs? Snow sometimes gets into mine.

We're renting a duplex, and when the landlord painted the outside a few years ago, he changed the mailbox to a vertical one - plus it's smaller than the previous mailbox we had. Barely anything fits in there and anything longer than a standard envelope being put in it makes the lid stand up - therefore, the wet from the snow/rain. GAH!
I used to know when the mail carrier came so I could get the mail right away - but that's all gone to pot now with the 'new' system. The mail has come at 10:30 and once last week he came about 5:30 p.m.!

Anyhew.... maybe a small Rubbermaid tote? OMG, I could contact them about a new product!
