I'm so happy to share my first brag with all the SCers who have taught me well. I did the following last Saturday:
Price Chopper: Used $16.50 in coupons- the best deal was the $1.99 Europes Best Fiesta Blend frozen fruit- bought six of these totalling $11.94 and used $9 in EB coupons (thankfully my mom had 2 of the $2.50 coupies and a $1, and I had the $3 WUB 2). So 6 pkgs of fruit for 2.94!!!
Canadian Tire: $10 worth of stuff using $10 CT GC so free to me!!! Yay!
Fortinos: used $10 GC (got the GC using Pampers GTG points redemption)+$17.85 in coupons - so I got about $46 worth of stuff for way less than half the price! (Woohoo, feeling fine!)
RCSS: used $18 in coupons and saved $10.95 from pink sticker items! Best deal: found 3 Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotions on clearance shelf with 50% pink sticker, and also used my $2 coupons so I got them for $1.64 each!!! (I'm still reeling from that deal! And it is such a great lotion!)
Shopper's Drug Mart: Scored 4300 points + $10 SDM coupon for spending $50 and used $9.50 in coupons! And, purchase included Physican's Formula makeup with full price MIR so I'm looking forward to getting that money back in my pocket!
Seriously, my day started with the 7am shopping trip to Price Chopper and it's just laughable all the deals I scored throughout.
Thanks SC! It takes work to do the couponing, pricematching, and searching for great savings but it's totally worth it and all of your posts helped me to organize my Saturday morning deals!
I've also "upgraded" to a coupon binder. Whoever posted the idea to do the binder using hockey trading card inserts to keep it organized was a genius! My family laughs but they have yet to match my savvy shopping!
Thanks again everyone! This thread is currently associated with: Shoppers Drug Mart, Real Canadian Superstore RCSS, Price Chopper, Canadian Tire, Fortinos, Europe's Best, Pampers, Pharmaprix

great job!!!! I too use a binder with the hockey card holders to organize my coupons. I couldn't imagine staying organized any other way. I think the cashiers in my town cringe when they see me walk into the store with my binder ;-) Keep up the frugal shopping!

Great shopping. Your family can laugh all they want. You are an amazing shopper and maybe someday you will convert them. I carry 2 binders, 1 for food and the other for nonfood items. Life was pretty DULL BEFORE SC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks all, and I agree, Life is certainly more interesting since I joined SC!!!! With all the offers and promotions and SDM stuff lately, I've already raked in another $30 in GC/coupons and I've got many many more on the way from Stouffers, P& G promo at Zellers and MIRS!!!! AND, I'm riding a couple of coupon trains and got some fabulous coupon trades recently. I'm stoked for the next big sale!!!
Happy shopping everyone!
