I know a girl from work not that well, that is getting married in august just like my son. A young couple just starting out, she has helped me at work with a new program. So i decided to do an random act of kindness- i made her up a gift basket either for herself or her stag and doe. I went to talize on the way to work yesterday to buy some beautiful baskets, only paid .99 cents. In her basket i put Glade sense and spray,(free) Foot pumice,(.10) foot cream , body puff (.25),calgon shower gel, pump soap,pr socks(1.00) st.ives hand lotion, body lotion too and a large cranberry candle(tall) that i got on sale for 3.00. So all in all paid about 11.50 for this nice large basket of goodies. As you can tell i buy things thru out the year where do you get a pumice stone for only .10 cents or a body puff for .25 or the glade sence and spray for only the tax i paid , then i store the stuff in a few totes and viola i have a great gift at a fraction of the cost. Our income has changed in our household so this really helps, it really helps to know there are others out there that stock up on stuff other than the normal food items or health and beauty items . thanks for listening, i am so excited like a little kid to give it to her , that is what makes the world go around and a better place to live in- by giving to others. S.C members have proven this time and time again too.

I'm the same, I stock up on gifts that I see on sale. After xmas a goat's milk soap basket $25 was reduced to $8, my MIL's favourite, snap a perfect Mother's Day gift at a fraction of the cost. I think out of all the Glade stuff I've kept 2 candles for myself and put the rest in baskets for people. Your co-worker will be so happy! Good for you!
