Hi everyone.
This is my first brag. It is awesome...my fiance actually suggested that I post about it.
I purchased my wedding gown and veil from Something Blue in Saskatoon yesterday. They were having their sample sale.
My wedding gown and veil are both Winnie Couture...although I am not a name brand girl myself.
Strapless duchess satin ball gown with Swarovski crystals and rhinestones adorning full bodice. Swarovski crystals and rhinestones detailed design along skirt hem. Chapel train. Available in IV/SIL or WH/SIL. Matching two-tier fingertip veil available.
The original price for my gown was $1629. I received 70% off my gown, "as is." I saved $1140.30. After taxes I paid $537.56 for my wedding gown.
The original price for my wedding veil was $429. I received 50% off my veil, "as is," (although I really did not see anything wrong with it). I saved $214.50. I paid $235.96 for my veil.
I saved $1490.28 on my wedding gown and veil (including taxes saved).

Congrats! I know I was thrilled when I found sales for my wedding this year.
I didn't pay full price for anything. Even though some people gave me heck that I shouldnt be cheap on my accessories.
I found a $250 veil on for $25!!! I didn't know if I wan't to even wear one so I was thrilled to find a pretty one at a seasons end sale.
