so I have been sick for awhile..boss has been upset even though I handed in a doc note...go in today even though still sick to show and tell her that i cant work..was told I am being taken off the schedule indefinately..literally did not feel bad at all, just got more mad at me...does that mean I just got fired?

If no - then most likely yes. Before the 3 months prob period they can kick yea out for any little reason.

Most likely the reasoning behind taking you off the schedule is because you brought in a doc notes which covers your butt. Basically there being nice and taking you off - once your back on the schedule and you miss a day your gone. But seems like their being nice and trying to help out and keeping you.

That's great congrats to you & your wife....lol thinking you might of meant coal black and not cold black hair! Can't wait to see the pics, give my best to your wife.

Hi everyone Haunish hope your feeling better soon! That's always so awkward when you start a new job then get sick never a good situation, hope your boss understands its beyond your control & you have a job when your better but if you don't I'd say its probably better, you don't want to work for someone with so little compassion. Believe me that job can be replaced easily enough & with the potential for being a better job.

lol yes i'm alive for awhile there wasn't sure I wanted to be lmao was totally miserable between the fractures in my back, 20 pounds of fluid & feeling like hell. All I wanted to do is lay down which isn't an option with my back best I can do is recline sitting at an angle. Then my legs & feet were bright red said I had a strep infection in them lol hurt just as bad as the sore throat does with a strep infection there!!! Worse actually everytime I hung them down after having them elevated I developed a heart in my feet that pounded something fierce and hurttttttt until all the blood got back in them and gradually settled down. Was in the hospital from Wednesday & got out Saturday (week before last) not an over long stay but omg hospitals are miserable you get absolutely no rest & it was the worst as far as food goes that i've ever been in, usually breakfast in the hospital isn't too bad but even that they managed to ruin!!!!!!! Didn't eat a whole lot. Have had a little bit of swelling since I got out but nothing compared to what I was having & haven't been feeling very good but better now. Take care everyone!

The thing with the dr. note, was she didnt believe it, said i didnt need to follow it, blah, blah. I havent been there 3 months, but I'm done thinking aobut it now. I dont really want to work for someone who wants me to still come in when I am that sick in a food place.
