Soooo, after being blonde all my life (aside from the times I've done crazy dyes), I'm going..red.
I've done BRIGHT fire engine red before, and people told me to keep it..so going to try something like that again. Bought some Loreal Paris today, going to have my MIL help me tomorrow night. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Yes pics for sure when you get a chance. It will look awesome on you.
I colored my hair a few days ago. Problem was I have not touched it since March so the roots are kinda orange..ok well more like a penny.*L* My natural hair is brown and I have been dying it blond forever. I would have loved to highlight it instead but the hubby pokes the heck outta me with the needle. *L*

Use Feria Power Red. That's the one you want to use to get the bright red you are looking for........but it only lasts about a month, and it does bleed alot. I have been doing this colour for about 10 years. I you want real staying power, get to a salon and have it done professionally. The red colour in my avatar has been that red for about 5 months now, and has barely faded at all

^ no, i think it is just the type you used. I would bleach out my hair and put the Feria on it and it would be insane red, or not bleach it and put it on darker brown and it would still be pretty bright. The Feria stuff comes with a little colour booster that looks like fake blood that you mix in with the regular stuff that really makes it POP.

I like it Digi...I also only use Feria red dye, it stays the best in my hair, which is naturally dark brown..
