In all seriousness, Woofy did say it was nice to have her arms to herself when I visited her and E. in the hospital. But I know that in reality (where everything is not actually about me, ) I will be in a long line of grandparents and your non-SC friends. Just remind them that I bite.

I've been reading it, and thinking "Good Lord, I hope Spice doesn't see this..."


But since I'm now positive she will, remember, Spice, the common theme is that regardless of all the stuff that happened, there is not a single person in there who has said "If I had known then what I know now, I would give up the idea of having my kid because it's too much pain/trouble/inconvenience/whatever."

Sounds like if you can do a drug-free birth, you're up and around a lot faster. Also, don't beat yourself up if the breastfeeding doesn't work well at first, or at all, and consider getting nipple shields ahead of time, apparently they're worth 10x their weight in plutonium.
