Thread: Kijiji & Craiglist...frustrating
-
Fri, Nov 6th, 2009, 01:04 PM #1
Does anyone post things for sale/free on Kijiji or Craiglist? I have put a few things on for sale but the problem is that people will email and ask if the item is still available and when I email back I get no response at all. Why do people bother playing these silly games. I get tons of emails and reply to them and get no response back...maybe one or two at the most. Very frustrating indeed. They say I should give my phone number and they will call me..but I don't do that, I ask for their phone number and say I will make arrangements to meet at McD's or the mall not at my home. My complaint is all the useless emails people send as jokes.

It's happened to me, but I don't use those websites, I've only posted things for sale on Punkottawa, where I've actually met, or know most of the people in passing (going to the punk shows, mutual friends on the site). I've gotten inquiries, but for the most part, I haven't been toooo bothered by it.

This is frustrating it has happened to me occassionally...but I also have inquired into things and then decide that I will wait for it to go on sale and buy new, or change my mind about really needing the item. I don't email the person back explaining this...since i only inquired if it was still available.
