I've never bought the flavoured special K with the FPCs. The FPC for Special K says "Special K Original 475g cereal". If they let you use it on the flavoured ones, they must not have read it very carefully. I wish we could use it for some variety

Yeah that is why I never got the cereal boxes with the free Special K. Original is boring IMO.

I only pick up the flavoured Special-K with my FPC's.

If the cashier says regular only, I will politely mention that the small flavoured retails for the same price as the large plain (this is TRUE, by the way, at my local stores)

I will also mention they don't have the Vector or Strawberry Bran cereal
available - also TRUE at my local stores.

I only like the original so no biggie to me, but it does specify original only and size on the coupon (and since its the 475g box and not the big one the same price thing doesn't really apply and is beside the point since the coupon excludes it)

As true as that is, the problem is that Kelloggs may refuse to refund the cost of the flavoured cereals, because technically the cashier is allowing the coupon to be used incorrectly. So even if they let you use it, Kelloggs would have every right not to reimburse the store for the product. Not sure how picky Kelloggs is being about it, though.

It states original only. Doesn't matter if the price is the same for another box... coupon won't be honored... manufacture given coupon and a receipt using the blueberry flavor... that's not what they stated on their coupon, so store loss.

EDIT: Please please please read coupons and TAKE NOTE of the fine print, of the weight, of what ever other info they give. An honest mistake is just that.. and honest mistake. We all make them!! But once the "oops" is known, please stand corrected...
