Another free scarf pattern...I know there are lots out there, but this one looks interesting...truth be told, however...I do prefer Madchives' one.....

Okay, knitters, I'm desperate!
Has anyone found a pattern for knitted mittens that would fit a 2-year old? Although I can knit with 4 needles, I still prefer 2...I just did a pair and they're so big...I knit them on 3.75mm needles, 26sts....and I forget the yarn...a tweed-type.
Help?

There is a "How crafty are you?" thread..but we need a pattern exchange thread...a knitting/crochet thread...how do we do that?
And Tatjana, it really makes a difference...knitting instead of nibbling while watching tv!!!
I made up a quickie pattern for a gorgeous fluffy scarf that you can knit as gifts for Christmas in ONE night! LOL! They look very impressive and you don't have to tell anyone how easy they are to make! If you want the pattern let me know and I`ll post it here!

Hm. Let's see if I can ask someone.....
Cinder-la....I'm a pretty good knitter and although I've read, and re-read sock patterns they still baffle me! I even watched youtube videos on them...I'm the type who has to see something like that done...and so far...I haven't..

Hello!
Thanks for the link! I downloaded the afghan one. I knitted a scarf for my boyfriend last Christmas and he loves it! I even sewed on a little tag and embroidered "with love" on it for an extra special touch.
It was my very first knitting project ever and took me about a month to finish.
It was a very basic knit and I am really interested in learning how to make more things! I'd like to knit a baby blanket for my sister-in-law's new baby and my boyfriend really wants a toque! I have NO IDEA where to start.
Guess I'll start scouring resources.
I want to one day be a great knitter like all of you!
