I been in sex shops before but ya get people looking at you...it can be uncomfortable some times this gives you a free way of not being stared at or given uncomfortable looks. I think its a great find and very informative for how to buy what to look for as well.

There's probably a number of people who feel uncomfortable or shy going into sex shops just to begin with though (yes, I am one of those ppl. ) but I would think & hope that the employees would be trained to work in the business with some respect and tact.

And in reality, any other customer is there for the same purpose that you are...so I try not to get wrapped up in what other people might notice me buying.

Still, I have been in a store on occasion where I'd be looking at something and the employee would be overly helpful and the whole time I'm thinking, "just go away and let me look at the dildos, will ya? Cuz I can read this box all by myself" LOL.

Only had once where I thought the employee was gonna actually try to help me try something on...and I was like, "um...okay...I don't care HOW excited DH would be if I brought this home, I've changed my mind and I'm going home. Plain naked me will have to do for now."

Haha, the only time I've asked for help was when I had questions about the Diva Cup....I tend to shoo the salesperson away when looking at everything else too

yeah I do get the over excited sales attendants at most places I go to its like could ya leave your commission brain at the door.

I always just wanted to pull them out of the box and feel them up...but there was a policy at most places "open the box consider you just bought it"

There are alot more Sex shops that are for women now. Of course youll see gonna see those ones with borded up windows and a creepy guy at the counter, but here in toronto there are TONS of women owned ones.
