Yeah, yeah, I know, stereotypically Canadian. Well, that is how I talk so what can I say? I was surprised I was able to use my usual username here as I was sure that someone else would have taken it already. When it said that my name is available I was like, "Oh, right on!"

I buy Canadian stuff whenever possible. If it's not Canadian, I don't care what it is, I'll just buy whatever is the best deal. That's why I buy Japanese cars, until Bombardier or someone else builds a true "domestic" car, I buy the best car that is at least MADE IN CANADA, regardless of make. I tend to be the same way about home improvement and repairs, I shop at Rona or CTC before I set foot in Home Depot or (gasp!) Lowes. I also really like CIL and Para paints (especially Para).

I go to university and many people asked me why I don't apply to schools in the USA or Europe. My answer is that I'm a proud Canadian and our universities are more than good enough for me. I don't need to leave my home to get a first-class education.

Yes, I'm patriotic but not stupidly so. I still call Stephen Harper "The Blue-Eyed Devil" and I know that the Conservative Party just wants to sell us to the USA. That's all I'm going to ever say about politics (even though that's my university major...lol).

Remember - American does not mean domestic and the only people who refer to GM, Chrysler and Ford as "North-American" vehicles are delusional Canadians because we know damn well that the Americans don't call them that. :D
