I'm seriously thinking that trading and doing trains are beginning to become a headache. I'm not going to mention names at this time because all persons involved seem to have reputable ratings on here, but I have 2 trains mia,and a trade not responding to a second pm and a month leeway. How do I rate a train that never came home? Neutral for everyone? Negative? Positive except for the last person? What do I do?
I would also like to suggest that if you do not come on SC every couple of days or so that maybe trains and trading aren't for you. It is incredibly frusterating to track down stuff when it takes a week to receive a response about things that are already 2 weeks off kilter!

I was on a great train by star, and I know I sent it out, but it never made it to the next rider, who I trust totally, my first mia, I felt horrible. So the next rider, who is awesome got another one started, and I sent star extra stamps for the ones lost out, but for me it's not wanting anyone angry or upset with me. I'm almost ready to start taking a pic while handing it over the counter with a receipt attached, just so members know. I know it does happen that some do get lost, poor samplegurl sent me one that took 3 weeks to arrive, and we live an hour drive away from one another. We were both happy when it did get to my place.

i think i've just been scammed
did a trade with a newbiw cstyz32 for my via coupon i only asked for 10 stamps and indicated that i wanted them mailed out on Monday that's when i put his coupon in the mail het got his coupon and even gave me a possitive rating but as of today no stamps

NancyM- have you tried PMing the person? I would give it a month and 3 PMs before making it an issue to be addressed w/ Boo or a mod. I know I just recently grumble about an anonomously named trade on here, but that was after 2 PMs and about a month. Since then the other person has been in contact with me and we are sorting things thru. I hope it works out for you.

I can't reamber name(and frankly don't want to name lol) but I had someone who was interested in coupons but was away from home then she seemed to get upset because i asked her how we going to trade if her coupons are across the country and she disappeared I said I don't mind trading with what she had with her but nothing just thought it was suspicious and thought I would post

thanks for the advice but he is away right now on the train toot toot and to be honest it was just a via coupon and a stamp really the only thing i would do is give a negative trade rating i'm sure it will come he made a point of letting me know he got it and the poitive rating i'm just glad i didn't send it express to him then i would be so mad

I need to rant...for several things

Rant #1
Someone who has been thoroughly discussed here and who has promised to make amends have yet to send me my 7 stamps as promised back in October. Then in November she promised to send me another 7 stamps in lieu of the 'missing' stamps that she supposingly 'sent out' on october 14th. But I have yet to receive any of the envies..and I was nice enough to hold on to the coupons she wanted for almost 2 months. Now the coupons are almost expiring and I have given up on trading them off and have given them out for free to people who can use them. I am sick and tired of people who are making false promises and not fulfilling them. Yes, you might say that I didn't lose out on anything because I never sent the coupons out...but the truth is, the ones she wanted were quite popular and many people have asked me about it, back in November. If I had traded them off back then, I would have at least gotten a few stamps back. But instead, because they are now close to the expiration date, they are not worth a trade anymore. What should I do about this? Give her a negative rating? or a neutral? or should I just forget about it??

Rant # 2
2 weeks ago, someone asked me to hold onto coupons for her because she really wanted them. I said fine and we even discussed how many stamps she would send me. Suddenly, she disappears offline from SC for a week. I understand that sometimes life happens and was actually quite worried about her. I held on to the coupons for another week and had PMed her a couple times. This week, she is back online and posting on a lot of posts/threads. She is spending a lot of time on SC. I waited for another day or 2 before I PMed her again about our trade and the impending expiry dates. She does not reply me. I PMed her again and she doesn't get back to me either, but yet, she is posting in a lot of threads. The coupons that she wanted are also very popular and someone even offered me a $5 GC for them, but I told them I had to hold on to them for someone else that I promised. It's been 2 days since I've last PMed her and I've given up. I even offered to send them to her for FREE since they are expiring in 2 weeks and yet she doesn't even have the courtesy to reply me. I'm just really SICK AND TIRED of people who do this. And, the truth is, I spent about $20 this week sending out free coupons to about 25 different people. I don't have to do this but in the spirit of Christmas and giving back to the others, I've chosen to. And yet people don't have the courtesy to give me a simple "yes" or "no" answer. I think I've been nice enough to hold on to coupons for someone and try to 'understand' their situation but when I see them active in the forums but ignoring my PMs, I get pretty mad and also sad at the same time.

Rant # 3
Is it just my luck or has the politeness gone WAY down in SC? Again, this goes back to my free coupon thread. Most people who have PMed me for free coupons have been very polite and friendly to me, but some people are just plain rude. I've had a couple people 'demanding' specific coupons. No thank yous, No please. Just a list like "I WANT : blah blah blah blah. MY ADDRESS : XXXXX". I usually PM them back to let them know I am sending it out tomorrow morning..etc and some have even had the gut to suggest I send it out right away so they can use it. I want to yell in their face that "HEY! These are free coupons I've giving. I have a life, I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old. I can't go out just to mail out your free coupons. Also I have already said I am mailing them out the next day..can't you wait??" Then I've also had pretty greedy people who want ALL or MOST of my coupons. Please tell me, what are you going to do with 37 of 1 coupon if you can't stack? AND...I've even seen people trying to trade off coupons they've gotten from me for free. I know there are some honest people who appreciate my efforts and have thanked me like a million times but some people just...really tick me off.

Rant # 4
I remember a while back I posted that I had like 70 of the same save.ca coupon and some people were very rude and kept saying I was defrauding the system...etc etc. Well, I never ordered 70 of the same coupons and no, I don't have the time to create 70 diff. accounts as someone suggested that I did. Save.ca made an error and sent me 150 envies in ONE day in which I took the time to open and cut out and sort everything out and gave them out to a lot of people. In return, someone got jealous and kept saying I was committing fraud. Well, guess what? Someone reported the issue to save.ca and now they are no longer sending me ANY coupons. So it seems like someone took the time to let save.ca know their problems and in return I don't even get the 1 copy that I deserve. Thank you to whoever did this and now I will no longer be able to provide coupons to several stackers here in BC who use my stash to create hampers for about 70 families. Thanks a lot.

I guess it's just really not my week here on SC...life is hectic as it is and I've been trying to reduce my stress by giving out coupons and trying to be nice to people but things are just not going the way it should. I need a hug

@ kaimui22 - Just curious, how would someone report you to save.ca would they not need your full name, mailing address or at least your email address? this must have been someone you either traded with or gave your email to, otherwise I don't understand how someone could report you.

Each save.ca coupon that we receive have our membership number on it. kaimui mentioned sending out the coupons to people on here after she received so many...

Sorry that happened to you, hon, and for something that wasn't even your doing. I know I'd be pretty ticked if someone did that to me.
