Got a metallic pen in the mail but it was broken [looked like it may have come off the production line that way.. the cut was too perfect to just break that way..=/]

Sent an email asking if they could replace it.. We'll see if they reply before new years =)

You seem to get a lot of stuff that somehow arrives "broken".

I've received many prizes all of which have been fine...

Ah well. I'm a magnet for broken things and accidents [perhaps one day I'll tell the tale of how I got glass in my left butt cheek ]

My dad feels the need to find his crazy glue and put it together for me so.. meh here's hoping ti works if not, oh well. I'll order another one in the new year..

That's happened to me too I've received 5 or 6 ALL broken or parts lost in the post Glad to hear I am not alone as I was starting to think people were thinking I was full of it but I am a very honest person and even offered to send them back the pieces I had received and the broken pens.

me too. I know of dont want people to think I'm full of it either. I tried to take pictures of it with my webcam [hard to hold a laptop upside down over a table lol] but it was all fuzzy.. =( I think broken/defective items are bound to happen really.. these things are mass produced and things came slip thru the cracks.. I dunno.. I'm just upset over it all because I adore the metallic pens they just write so smoothly for me [I'm a total chicken scratcher whilst writing].

I also offered to send it back and provide picture proof so hopefully they reply back shrotly.

I've only had the pen issue and the calculator [cracked on the back and the sceen only displayed half the numbers.. so 8 looked like u [same for 0; etc etc] issues and they replaced the calculator mid november and I got it last week So here's hoping

both my mom and i got broken metallic pens as well, so , evil kitten, i guess there is many of us that got broken stuff in here...my mom also got a broken calculator, but she just ordered another one. It's free stuff, we didn't want to bother them with a broken item or two. And the things we get are usually ok.

Received a couple broken calculators and one metallic pen that was bent beyond use. Never did receive about 4 or 5 prizes I ordered back in the spring. Overall most of the stuff comes for me though

i have never had anything come broken , however i did have a bowl come with no spoon. i emailed them and they sent one out right away.

I had a calculator cracked once but then I ran it over with my car by accident - so didnt matter after that one.

I just logged on today to chapmans I thought we get 35points for logging on...I didn't get 35points for logging on...thats different...anyone else get that too?
