omg - the fisher price contest ends Dec 19??? o man!
Any guesses how long the halloween contests will be up???
My story is here http://www.sheknows.com/contests/fun...-cutest-things
But in case you're boycotting I'll share here because my monsters are sooo cute (my son - now 4 was a micropreemie so i like to brag about him)
I asked my 4 year old to keep an eye on his 1.5 year old sister while i stepped out the room. When i came back he was staring at her intently. so i said "thanks for keeping an eye on her bud!" to which he replied "I kept BOTH eyes on her!"

So I'm cleaning up toys, folding laundry, trying to keep the cat out of the loaf of bread I just made. And I'm thinking "I'll go update the wiki... it should be easy, since its Thursday, we hardly get any words on Thursday!" HOLY CRAP... thats a lot of words, you guys!
NS totally had it nailed, too... hehee
By the way, NS... I somehow missed that post about Blair thinking he had another Aneurysm! What specifically is making him think that? I'm so sorry you have so many worries and troubles on your plate at the moment.
LOL Amy, you are awesome! I cannot lock the wiki, as it is hosted on another site, and they leave their wiki articles open to the public. I've found the next best solution, I just make a copy of it and cut and paste it every time I edit, so that I know I am adding ONLY to what I've already done and not reposting words etc. It is hard enough for everyone I am sure keeping track of what they have and don't have without having multiple posts.
Oh Honey, I feel so terrible for you... any one problem you are having is overwhelming, and all of them together is just terrible. I'm sorry I can't come nurse ya, I'd totally do if I could!
RQ! You are like the college daughter who only calls once a week! LOL
You have us all wondering how you are all the time.
Seriously though.. I'm sorry things are piling up on you, and that you are having a hard time with your health. We are all always here for you if you ever need anything!

lolcat: on the inside of his leg, there's a vein and a lump protruding from it. now he's saying he had this for 3 years. same leg that had a bunch of knots in it, and when did the surgury, also did something to these knotted veins. now he has had the dr look at it before (so he says), but somehow it has changed?
hubby changes what he says all the time, he worries me. but i am making sure the dr knows next wed about it. i don't know what else it could be, but i'm sure it's possible it's something else. i mean, who ever heard of someone with 3 aneurysms???
but ya this is our luck tho.
is your daughter feeling any better? did you have to take her to emerg? did i miss that post?

AMY! I wish I could meet you Shopping like mad? Where are you going?
I live right near London Health Sciences Hospital in London!
Actually, it is scary but, people who have one Aneurysm are more likely to have more, even if nothing ever comes of them. Especially in the legs, it is quite common to have one develop in the leg opposite of the affected leg. The real worry with aneurysm in the leg is that if it causes the artery to be blocked completely, it can cut off circulation.
He should always be on guard for these symptoms:
1- A severe pulsation in the lump on the vein (like the blood is pumping extra hard, it can also feel like a really bad muscle tic)
2- Leg pain associated with exercise, OR during periods of rest (not post exercise)
3- Numbness or radiating pain in the affected limb
4- Anything on the affected leg that looks like a sore, or an infection, especially on the toes.
I'm sure its probably fine, but he should definately get it checked out. Has he ever been tested for an Aortic Aneurysm? That is more common with people who have had peripheral (limb) Aneurysms. He should always be on the lookout for any kind of numbness that is unusual, that is commonly the first sign of trouble!
Kitten is ok, thank you for asking She had that severe day, then she seemed fine. Judging by the amount of chicken and potatoes she ate at supper, I'd say she's fully recovered! LOL She's such a little stinker, I caught her stealing candy from the Halloween bucket that I had hidden in the hall closet. She had 3 Ghost shaped marshmallows and and a mini Aero bar in one hand and was crawling away in a hurry to Winter's room when I caught her! LOLOL
HUGS Angel, I hope things go well at the doctor for Hubby!

Awwww, Amy discovered I was missing first, or just posted about it first...thanks Amy
LMFAO
Happened to me at 10 yrs also. I was very tall. I remember being pretty pissed off about it cuz I love me some candy!!!
I love that poem babygonnermann!!!
crap, can't remember how many pages I have left now, but I'm only on Nov 1st.
I love Halloween too and was sad this year cuz it was the first year not going trick or treating with one or both of my kids. My son quit when he was 11 and my daughter went with her friends this year. I also love giving out the candy. I do Halloween bags with all kinds of cool stuff in them. I have them done in age groups and by girl/boy. I go way overboard, but I remember how much I loved getting one of the treat bags instead of just 1-2 pieces of candy. We also go all out on decorations, including a fog machine, glowing graveyard, and a bubbling steaming cauldron---but too much to type.

LOL, I will probably stop at first to the Liquidation World off the highway I think Wellington then the Old Navy there cuz somehow I always score clothes on sale for myself and I have a coupon spend $50 this weekend and get $10 off so an incentive to finally buy myself something purty Depending on the following days schedule my sister will want to hit the Home Sense near the mall there and Loblaws and Marble Slab...so that is my shopping I think. Saturday at around 5ish we are heading to the bridal shower and spending the night in London cuz my moms best friend's house is empty, just her an empty nester...well it is her granddaughter getting married.
So do you know if what I am talking about is close to you at all?

I live about 10 minutes from White Oaks mall, which is the big mall just up the road from Liquidation World and that Old Navy you mentioned. We really love that Value Village that is right across from Liquidation World, it is too bad you aren't sticking around till Monday the 17th, that is Value Village 50% off everything day!
If I got to meet you while you were here, that would be the greatest thing EVER! LOL Tell me if there is time in your plans, and I will totally be willing to meet you anywhere you want!

So sorry that people had to ruin it
Happy belated birthday to little Winter!!!
LMFAO!!!
OMG...doesn't that just figure...lol
lmao
omg!! My mom said she caught my dad doing that once...
I've had to put off dealing with P&P for the moment...but trust me...I'm not through with them
...and someone else misses me...
I have been really disgusted and disappointed this year with the way people have acted over politics. Why can't we just respect other's opinions and and be respectful stating our own opinions???
I want to see your costume!!!
chandra, I'm so sorry about Missy...big hugs for you and Justin!Last edited by rebate queen; Fri, Nov 14th, 2008 at 02:44 AM.

ok...I won't ask...lmao....
...and what a good detective seek is!!!
Wow, I've never been missed this much....ya know I'm just an orphan that feels like they have a home now!!
I'm still waitin' on him....I think he got lost in New York looking for Aphena
I'm so sorry...I wasn't doing email either
that def is not normal for me...you all know I'm addicted to SC...I was feeling so bad that I did NOT miss it....now that's BAD!!!
you guys are totally awesome on boosting someone's self esteem!! Thank you so much!
stardreamer, I hope you are feeling better...seems like you've been having a heck of a time
I'm a little late, but WELCOME!!
again, unbelievable...I don't have my business listed for safety reasons because it is in my home...and the phone is in my ex's name still....
Thanks for asking
great detective work again, she found the number and somehow got my "friend" to answer(he usually does not answer the phone)
There are people with my name out there??
So seek finds me on the internet by something I had no clue was even on the internet. No it wasn't really my kidney, but some donations I did for a fundraising event. It was really odd that this was how I was found. Who'd a thought it?? She was a little concerned that I would be mad...my God NO!!...I was totally amazed and honored...even brings a tear to my eye now. I honestly have not had many people in my life care that much. Between my "friend" who treats me like a queen and you guys...I really feel so blessed! Thank you again!
she did, and I appreciate it so much
....and he's such a sweetheart, he would talk to you for sure-so different from my ex who was such an a s s that I was embarrassed for him to answer the phone
Thanks Tammy
....and she did
it's a continuing battle, but things are just piling up on me...
I hope you are doing better too. I read some of your posts and know that you weren't doing so well...
Thanks so much. I am really overwhelmed (in a good way) by everyone's kindness and concern
Yeah, the proverbial s h i t is hitting the fan now. 1 1/2 years of being a single mom and dealing with this chronic health crap. Every part of my life is suffering now from my inability to handle it all. So, anyway, more about that later.
I promise to not go missing again, but I will have to spend a lot less time on here than I was I really didn't mean to be inconsiderate by not checking in....just really didn't know that I would be missed like that.
....don't tempt me, I just promised not to do it, but if I would get a visit....hmmm
Thanks for caring kekes!
The sinus infection on top of my normal health crap really took a toll....
thanx HG!
NS, I truly admire how you handle Ryan. I am sorry that it is so challenging and stressful. I think of you and wish you strength more than you know....
Also to the rest of you struggling with issues with your kids....I wish you the best.
On a lighter note, did anyone realize that SNOW backwards is WO NS...as in WOah NSangel??!!
ok...40 more pagesLast edited by rebate queen; Fri, Nov 14th, 2008 at 04:48 AM.
