Happy Thanksgiving to the crazy people on here who are really Canadians trapped in an American body
Hope you guys have a great day and weekend with family and friends and remember to shop for us all
My microwave died on me last night...as in made a buzzing noise I unplugged it and then it popped and got really hot. I now want to buy over the range one but waiting for the xmas/boxing day sales to get it so I have to go to my parents today to get an old microwave from them. With kids I live on that (I know many of you will get upset at me for it) but bottle warming is so easy with it.
It seems like all my kitchen appliances are dying together. Last month my toaster oven so I borrowed my sister's old one til the one I want went on sale and it is this week at Cdn Tire. The B&D Convection/Rotisserie is normally $150 is now $70 and I think I have enough Cdn Tire dollars to get it for free.
We have been married 5 yrs so I guess I got good life out of the appliances I had...time for some new stuff. But money is tight so I think mommy will pay for my ovr the range microwave, I want the counter space and should be able to snag one for $200

no clue about their jackets. i'm columbia all the way..well ds and dh are since i picked them up used for 12-30 bucks. i still need to snag one for myself.
but they do have really good boots! those grr..trying to think of the name..sol? soleil? grr..help me here ppl! they are fantastic. they make evrything from kids winter boots to -40 below workboots. well worth the money trust me. hubby used to work as a garbage man. pushing those huge containers in blizzards on ice, you needed something you dind't fall on your ass with. and they made them in steel toe to!
marks had a $10 off g/c when you buy $50 worth of stuff. but mine exp in NOV. keep an eye out for those. check with others, they're maybe new ones out. i found mine in one of their flyer/catalogues.
your amazing! come to my house and declutter me..PLEASE!!! and as for spreading it around..tick has a name for that...
what age? looks like now is a good time as any. she's what 9? use some humor on her. tell her barbie ate out at mcdonalds and made a mess with her bigmac, and had to change her clothes. often kids will go along with that "fantasy" . it works on ryan. tg.other times they just need their feelings heard.
are all the over the counter ones, got the fan for the stove? if not, be sure to get one that does. may as well get an extra use out of it. i paid like $800 for mine. hope they came down since! mine over the counter one didn't last as long as my 10 year old sony one that i paid $500 for one they first came out. i think i got like 3 years out of the frigidaire. (avoid avoid!)
make sure it has a good waranty.

Hardware stores. YOu can buy kits but would be cheaper to buy the stuff and make it yourself.
HAPPY Thanksgiving to all us americans and wish the rest of ya could have visited for dinner. Lurv you all. Missing lolbelly. Come home soon lol.
SO THAT IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!!Fooking walmart doesnt have anything listed this year worth getting up at 3 am and fighting abunch of hateful deal hunters who run over my feet. But this year you can stay home and shop!!!!!!!!!!!!! Walmart.com is offering the same deals as the stores.
They are really pushing accessories for electronics, and game systems and the tv's. Course there is the half size $4 appliances. Those are always gone fast.
Haunish, is your daughter obsessive compulsive? Maybe it is the fact that all the barbies have their own clothes and the clothes dont go on the other dolls. Its an odd behavior but it would make sense to her. But too it could be as simple as she had bad day at school, like an adult said something or did something that made her feel inferior to which she has no control over an adult and would take it out on someone she could. OC doesnt have to be extreme could occur over one or two things. THats how jake started then it got bad. I finally had to stop his habits. Like telling your dd that its okay for the dolls to have on different clothes she can always redress them.
Aint being the mom alot of fun? I was up to 2 am with john throwing a fit. Telling me he is 18 and can do wth ever he wants. Using cuss words, started a fight with jake which almost became physical. To which point I threw john (6ft 240 lbs) ON the bad and sat on top of him.So I sent jake to my mothers. He hadnt done anything wrong and john had no right to verbally or physically attack him. I finally decided if he wanted to move he could just
go. After two hours he was sorry for what he had done
. I am gonna see about getting him a therapist or someone to talk to. I dont know what else to do with him. He is 18 and still in high school so some places i still have control and others I dont. He isnt always bad these are violant mood swings tho.

seek..you forgot to tell them about the attempted exorcism at 1 am roflmao.
i think hauns daughter was a little jealous that someone was playing with her dolls when she wasn't home. i can see ryan having a fit, and i would be about something stupid like wrong clothes on. lol.Last edited by NSangel; Thu, Nov 27th, 2008 at 11:15 AM.

Honestly we have been wondering if she was OC, you cannot move anything in her room, main reason I dont go in there, is if it is moved even half an inch, even a cm, she notices and freaks, it has to be exactly where she had it. We have been trying to get her to go through her stuff to get rid of some things and she cant, freaks out, breaks down, says she cant move anything from her room it has to stay where it belongs. Dolls belong in their place, bed spread, everything. I was going to talk to doc. thats why I started the rule they put their own laundry away, as she freaked out if I didnt put her clothes int he exact spot they were to go, not that i knew which shirt went in which spot.
A bit ago we had tried to get her to change direction of bed, and she couldt, completely broke down, said she just couldn't.
We are getting her to put some toys together in a separate place so the kids can play with those and she hopefully wont be upset, she 's not lacking in the toy department, so hopefully that helps next timeLast edited by haunish; Thu, Nov 27th, 2008 at 11:19 AM.

ok NS's suggestion reminds me of a story about jake who was 4 at the time.
He was obsessed with batman. So one day after talking to papa on the phone he decides he wants to call batman. I never encountered a problem like this before, so I was left dumbfounded. Told him we cant he dont have phone. So this lead to a two hour fit. When I am ready to run out infront of a semi I get the idea to call the bank number where it tells the date and time. So I did and let him listen. Hes still crying. I said jake if it tells you the date and time that is secret code for batman is okay and out on a mission. So we had to call batman four times a day at the minimum for six months. roflmao.

Haun she definitely sounds oc. ITs so difficult to break and sometimes you cant. You need to seek some advice on what to do and do it in small steps. Jake is still oc but now he realises if I put it out of place just move it to where it goes cause I cant remember everything. HUGS honey I know how difficult it can be. Good rule about the laundry tho. That is a definite start. And good idea about the toys too.
