I got a Chatelaine magazine like two weeks ago in the mail (and my moms did too) and then I got 2 emails for me and my moms account that we owe $29.95 for the subscription. I know for a fact I would never have subscribed to pay cuz I just refuse to pay for magazines. Anyone remember maybe how or why I would have registered for this? Should I ignore the emails or just reply and say I didnt subscribe to these and end it?

I signed up for a free copy of Chatelaine (can't remember where, though), and when I get the bill, I will just write "CANCEL" across it and send it back in. That's what it says to do, anyways, when you're getting free copies of stuff.

In your case, I would reply and say that you didn't subscribe and they will take you off your list.

Must have been something we all did online to get this then. I wonder. I was thinking it was linked somehow to Rogers free subscription for the holidays. I had Today's Parent magazine but maybe they were trying to lure people into another magazine and hoping people would not notice

ya, the chatelaine one, was a contest u could sign up for (with me anyway), so i signed up 4 of us. managed to cancel 2 accts on line, one isn't showing, and the other is saying i have to cancel thru the whover sold the subscription, like wtf? so i flipped off an email.

crazy shyat. i know for 2 of them i put i did NOT want the issue. and so far i don't think mom got them, but 2 came here.

Blog looks good Rose. Amazing how working on those things can eat up so much time, but it's worth it.

Looks like I'm going to have to unbury my crockpot. Never did use it much, but with all this talk of crockpots and recipes that sound so yummy, hopefully it will get me going.
