RANT......

Ok so I turned in my paperwork for my medical assistance like 1 day before it was due. I understand it was short notice. SO when i went to urgent care yesterday they say you have no coverage, i said ok bill me. Then i had to pay out of my pocket for the meds. Fers

So ic all today and i have new worker. WTH ok. She informs me they never got the recertification...At that point i was PISSED. I said this is nto pereoanlly but where is it it was dropped off.

SO shes goign abck and forth with me and her supervisor apologies to me casue shes new to this, etc. I said look i have pt for 2 hernaited disks and 2 protrusions. WTH am i gooan do? WEll the soone ryou get he recert in the better she says.

Aph, I can sympathize. I'm on disability, so I get $ deposited into my bank account. Last month, the individual who does this went on vacation. I called wondering what was going on. The person covering forgot to enter the info into the computer to process it. They told me to go over there right away to pick up a cheque. Then they call me back & say that the cheque has already been mailed out.


Got a rant myself. My friend, who's been waiting 8 months, just had the surgery cancelled (Dr is sick)! Apparently in all of Toronto there is only 1 surgeon capable of doing that surgery! Yes, I'm being sarcastic. Heck, when I had my transplant, the surgeon who was supposed to operate had already done 2 transplants (12 hrs of surgery), so they brought in another surgeon (the really really cute Dr with the amazing personality & wonderful bedside manner). Where was I?

O, the rant. But no, my poor friend who's been taking this icky med to get ready for the operation now has to wait (& wean herself off this med, then go back on it whenever they reschedule).

Luckily we didn`t get snow down here by the lake, but my parents did in the burbs. Poor dog didn`t get up until after 10, even then I had to bribe her with the promise of breakfast to get her to go out into the icky rain. They`re both sleeping in their beds. Maybe they`ll get up once I get around to making lunch for us.

If anyone has sunshine, enjoy it for the rest of us in dreary winterland.
