Nice to see we have some new victims to torment, er, I mean, new members to welcome. Don`t worry, no one bites around here. Well, my cat might but he`s still trying to figure out how to use the computer. Just be warned, now that you`re here, you can never leave.

Decided to go home with my parents yesterday when they stopped by for a visit, then I went over to check on my friend who had surgery. Of course, I stayed overnight which meant no access to SC.

BG - Sending prayers your way. My dad had prostate cancer 4 yrs ago & is now perfectly healthy. Actually, his treatment was a comedy of errors (scary at the time, but we laugh about it now that he's as weird to treat as I am & that's where I get it from). He was given 3 options - surgery, implanted radiated "beads" & radiation. Well, he chose surgery. They cut him open only to find that he had a weird birth defect (something to do with a bone that grew crooked), so the new protocol at that hospital is to do an ultrasound before surgery. Then he opted for the implanted beads - same deal, seems the growth was in the way again. He finally had radiation & has been up & running (literally) ever since.

LOLCat - good to hear from you. Congrats, it`s always nice to have a little girl to dress up. Of course, all I have is a boy cat to put in frilly clothes (poor dog is gonna get a complex, but they only make frilly clothes for little doggies).

Rose - still confirming, but I think I`m gonna bring 4 folks down to see you perform (might be more!). Actually, we might end up staying over at my friend`s cottage when we go, which will make it a fun weekend. Please send me the link to the info!

NS - go off to the retirement home where they can cater to your every whim & you can get lots of rest. Just show them the Wii results. & what have you been doing with those poor rabbits?

RTLady - you could always call up the local police & mention that you`ve noticed some speeders & would be happy to let them set up a cop with a radar gun on your property. Most folks avoid stopped near speed traps. You could always stand out there yourself with a hairdryer & point it at folks passing by. Of course, then the real police might show up.

Amy - sending prayers for your friend & her brother. For what it`s worth, a kidney transplant is almost routine these days, very high success rate. They`ll both be up & running around within a day of surgery (no mercy for patients these days ).

I had a kidney/pancreas transplant 6 years ago. & if anyone hasn`t already signed their donor cards, please do so & tell your family. I wouldn`t be here today if some kind young soul hadn`t done so (all I know about the donor is that he/she was under 25). One donor can change the life of 25 people (eyes, heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, pancreas, bone, skin). Oh, & no one is too old or decrepit to donate - even I have body parts that are still viable.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the words finally got them all in. SCOOBYVOL2 100 pts is working now. Had my leg go out from under me yesterday, haven't a clue what happened, ended up on the knee on the floor so have a pretty bruise today. Totally sick of this crap so called the rheumatoid drs office and once I convinced them I really did not need to go to the er for xrays got an appointment. Soonest I can get in tho as dr is going on vacation next week is May 12th or I can see the other dr., don't want to do that though as he doesn't know me and woudln't want to make any changes to my care anyway so would be a waste of time. Could just be a flare up of the lupus causing my body some problems or the electrolytes being off but want to be sure as I can't afford to fall, smacking my head good one time on blood thinners might be all she wrote. Anyway my shots I get once a week aren't doing the job which was why he'd wanted me on an IV rheumatoid medicine but I can't start that until my wound heals so am hoping he can put me on something in the meantime that will help. AND DAMMIT I want him to do something to keep me on my feet! Didn't really fall yesterday leg just buckled and landed on it sure as heck didn't feel very good though. Nuff whining! Dh is off to the casino tonight they gave him an extra $50 to play with I think for his birthday last month. Told him with the swine flu going around and all the people from all over going through the casino half of them looking and sounding sick that I wasn't going to chance it with my immune system. Seems like I end up sick quite often when I do go there.

Morning,

Speaking of donor lists they refused me. (TOOLS). They told me there would no way of taking any organ from me so no point of adding my name (even for family members to use my organs).

Anyways my back and wrist are killing me err only have 3 more nights then 3 nights off wohoo. I've been so tried I don't even want to open my mail LOL (you know it's bad). I start my online course on MOnday and hopefully its worth 400$ . Hopefully going shopping Monday or Tuesday get out the house and get a life (somewhat). Suppose to have a date with the cute firefighter on my days off (I'll let yea know how that goes). They finally hired 2 new guys for the nights shift (that do crap all so I end up doing their work for them).

Anyways see yea all in 3 days Off to bed before I return to hell.
