Well i hate the No Frills by me but they're cheap so i always end up going back. Had some great sales on today. Last time i was there 2 weeks ago i told this young cashier that all their veggie cheeses were expired - back in April! I was holding one to show her and she just gives me this blank stare and says "so you DONT want it then?". I know its nobody's dream job but shouldnt you at least PRETEND to give a s**t? Anyways... go back there today and all the expired stuff is still sitting on the shelf. I check dates on everything i buy there now!

i got mad at our corner store for charging me tax on a can of cranberries. the girl wouldn't listen. so i called the tax dept and asked them, they said no, took down the info, and i guess went in there and audited the whole store!

next time i went, everything that had no tax was cleary reticked $## n/tx or sumthing. before it was +tx

the owner of the store was clearly taking in the tax, but i'm very doubtful he was remitting it!

the no frills next to me had a bunch of expired products there once too and i told someone, they said ok i will let the owner know. next time same thing...so i went up to the express lane which is apparently customer service and said gimme the owner's number cuz i knew he wasnt there. she did and i called him while in the store and said hey i see a shelf of expired stuff and it seems no one cares cuz this is the second time i see it here. i went back the same day and they were all gone. the next day he called me back and thanked me and then said come to my store anytime next week and told me the days he was there. i found him and he thanked me in person and gave me a $50 pc card...woohoo
i really didnt want anything but just warn them cuz well some things slip but i dont want anyone to get sick over it

next topic, im going back a few pages but i was busy today in class...i noticed the chinese food chats...i dont eat at alot of chinese places because well most of the food is cooked in alcohol and i dont drink but if anyone lives in toronto, there is a place in scarborough (pharmacy and sheppard) called lin garden. its hakka chinese food (indian style which is spicy) damn goood. when i was pregnant with my first i ate more spicy food than anyone i knew...he loved it and my tolerance was soo high then. so they have chili chicken there which is a killer...burns the hell out of me and you pay for it later on when it has to get out of your system but its sooo worth it

for those not in town, its worth the drive.
