The new Halloween one is just like the payless one... one vote an hour per picture, and it is "Ratings" just like the shoes were.
Someone has already downvoted my poor little Winter to 4.3 candies! WHATEVER.
No one else's pictures are downvoted except for mine
And yes, I know the score doesn't do anything to the votes, but it still makes me mad, just like the last contest.

And we are supposed (of course) to get points for entering, voting, and commenting. It took me to the "Enter your P&P Account info" to get your points after voting thing, but I don't see the points in my account balance, and I haven't entered any words yet this morning.

your hubby said no more pets because he can't handle you being sad when they go. so you have to reassure him how much JOY they bring, then he might come around. it's nice to have a sensitive hubby like that.

i had a dwarf bunny. he only lasted a few months. yours did amazing! i do have one gp here going on 9 years! yup, 8 is the max!

i didn't tell mine about gale, for that reason. 1. he doesn't understand, and 2. he'd probably be relieved because he knows gale could steal me away anytime.

Wow NS I didn't realize GP lived near that long, should of gotten one of those instead but the dwarf hamsters were so darn adorable I couldn't resist. Think DH (in this case it wouldn't stand for dear ) got so upset over the hamster because I kept pleading with him to let me take him to the vet to be put to sleep. He had a huge tumor almost as big as him on his side and was miserable. I tried several times to get some fluid in him laced with my sleeping pill, took me a couple weeks to finally get him to take enough. Plus he doesn't like to see me upset and I was upset for that last couple weeks. He had the tumor for some time before it seemed to really bother him, then he stopped eating drinking or playing so I knew it was time. I think I want a kitten again tho. My dog is so possessive and would get mean with the cat we used to have but she's mellowed a lot I don't think it would be a problem anymore. DH said we could get one next year after income tax comes when we will be able to afford to go to the humane society and get a kitty, pay a vet and get it's supplies. Really miss having one. Going to change my avatar to a pic of chewie my dwarf hamster he was about 6 months old in the pic I have and so very cute.

my dwarf hamster died because his belly got full of hair and he couldn't pass it. are you sure it was a tumor? dwarf hamsters are known to have problems with hairballs.

guinea pigs are relatively easy to look after. i had one that ate the newspaper couldn't pass it, and died other than that, the rest died of unknown causes. just their time i guess.

i have 2 dogs, our dogs wash the cats. ya..i live on the funny farm. WHO SAID THAT?

smb: that's a great idea about dumpster diving day. for those areas that it's *ahem* illegal. but we do that already anyway. we stick stuff on our lawns at anytime with free signs on it. within minutes it's gone.
