actually... when i was planning on dying my hair the last time, i was debating between black and my natural dark brown/black. well hubby didn't like black, so i got the darkest brown. but it's been dyed so many times it's porus? so i ended up with black due to color grab. lol. but i do luv goth. if i *ahem* younger i would be so into it.

but i'm 40. and i'm no harleygrandma that can get away with anything.

Hey, what does age have to do with it? Besides, 40 is the new 20 or something like that. Did I mention I was 40 (feel like 80 some days, act like the 20 year olds I hang out with).

When I was younger I went to a goth club (I am in Toronto, after all) - couldn`t stand it. Place was so dark I kept bumping into tables - at least I hope that`s what they were. And if there were cute guys there, I couldn`t see them. Night vision gogles should be standard issue for those clubs. ;-)

Now, I went to a fancy birthday party once for a big shot lawyer who was on the board of a big charity. Dressed pseudo-Goth - black suede dress, lace-up `Victorian`ish boots, dark hair tied with black ribbon, black nail polish. I didn`t think I was anything exciting, but had quite a few cute young hot gents come say hello. It wasn`t until I was heading home that my `date` informed me that the gents coming by were not interested in talking to him, but wanted a closer look at the `hot chick`. The one and only time I`ve ever been called that.

As for Gale liking Goth chicks - well, as the hotties get older they do tend to go to the dark side, don`t they? Or is it just weirdos in Toronto? ;-)
