I got most of my piercings and tattoos when I was much younger. I have 8 hoops in my right ear, 4 in my left. (yes, I like to be different) I had my nose pierced 18 years ago and 2 months later got my first tattoo (snake/dagger/rose). I got my second tattoo (a seahorse) 4 years after that and I'd love to get more but I want to get my first tattoo fixed before I get new ones. It's going to cost me a couple hundred though 'cause it's on my right shoulder blade & it's seen a bit of sun over the years.
Got my belly button pierced about 15 years ago but it wouldn't heal so I had to let it grow in. Got my tongue pierced 5 years ago but I kept chewing on the darn thing no matter how small the post was so I ended up letting it grow in. Last summer I had it done again but had the hole put back further so it doesn't bother me anymore.
I think I'm done 'mutilating my body' as my dad calls it but I'm sure I'll get more done in the future. What can I say? It's addictive!

All I can say is OUCH!!!!!

lol, the first piercing I got was my nose, and when my dad came to visit, he tried to rip it out..lol..hates piercings so bad, my dh had to get him away..glad he cant do anything about tats, though my mom did offer to pay to have me remove them, as girls dont get tats where i got them apparently..lol

I have a thankful story to share with ya all. I had a really great friend who was an older man. He passed away a few years back with cancer. His wife has been ill for many years and has had to have blood transfusions and be hospitalized a lot. Saturday night she went to a church singing, and all at once she didn't feel right and sit down and asked they call an ambulance. At the hospital they told her taht her heart valve had busted and they lifeflighted her to tulsa. They did emergency surgery on her and replaced the valve. She came through the surgery with flying colors to spite the bloodthinners she has to take. I am very thankful she wasnt alone when it happend and that they expect her to be okay.
