    Since Spring, I have been diligently collecting the Catelli Pasta coupons - through trains, trades and kindness of many. I was hoping to use them for my usual Fall Food Bank Drive. After hanging on to the coupons for many months (and resisting the higher-priced sales), my big break came when Food Basics had them on a sale for $0.88/ box.

    Out went the stash in a flash! To my friends, family, nannies, night nurses and you name it, whomever I can grab to pass on the coupons, since there was a limit of 6 per customer and it was difficult for me to shop during weekdays. With everyone's help, I was able to gather 190+ boxes in that one week period. To my delight, a few of the downtown TO SCers donated another 20+ boxes.

    The pictures are missing quite a few boxes - at least 2 loads from my friends and the 20+ boxes from the downtown SCers. But you get the idea!

    All in all, there were about 220+ boxes of pasta. The irony was I kept none as hubby makes his own fresh pasta! This, by far, was the best $20 I have ever spent - for one week's worth of Starbucks latte!
