I redeemed for the super mario bros for wii game during the zlister redemption in november. I waited a month, thinking I was going to get it, that it went through, which they said that it did and then one day (earlier last month). Basically a month after the redemption or longer, I get an email saying that I am getting $50 paypal instead of my prize, that circumstances beyond their control forced them to not be able to send my prize. Other people got the amazon $50 card, I don't know why I got the $50 paypal instead. So the $50 was IN PLACE of my prize which I redeemed for.

Like Tommy said, they will throw money or GCs at random people to try to make liars out of the naysayers..... but they aren't going to keep it up.

I said iphone cause I worked in a factory making blackberrys so I hate them automatically and would never ever buy one.

I like the idea of points basically being "discounts" for purchasing products.

I'd definitely buy stuff if I could use points to take off like $100 or something

well.. since i only redeemed paypal money.. hopefully ill be one of the lucky handful of ppl that get there prize... well see if its here by the end of the week like they claim.. ill be satisfied.. lol

Points aren't being deducted because you're not going to get your prize. A handful of people will get their prize. As for the thousands of others.. they'll send a few people an Amazon gift card, some a PayPal payment, others they'll accuse of cheating, and ones who email and ask what's going on will get a robotic carbon-copy reply that doesn't address your question.. i.e. you will just be ignored.

Yep, this is most likely the case. As for whether it will collapse, it's really hard to say. I don't think anyone has any knowledge of their financial state, and the best picture of this would be the Liberty Media 2009 Annual Report, which isn't out yet. Their quarterly reports may have something, and I'll try and check when I have time.

I like this idea as well, but only if they don't jack up the prices and make buying something with points the same cost as buying from a shop like Amazon. Their prices are already rather skewed, with things like DVD movies costing more than than an 8gb iPod Touch, so I can't really say I would trust their judgment with something like this.

I think the DVDs they now have for redemption are at the new "4x" PTZ value they are always talking about.

The old stuff like 100 PTZ video games and 325 PTZ ipod touches will probably end up being 400 ptz and 1300 ptz when they switch over.

I just hope there will be more ways to make PTZ though because 4 a day (for me a non z-lister) really sucks lol. Not to mention practically everyone is a member now so referring people is not easy!

I just noticed the email I received from Lockerz says:

Congrats! Your PTZ Place order has been approved. Your Showtime Ent. / Paramount Dexter: Complete Second Season will be sent to you by the end of this week.

I could of sworn when I redeemed I chose Dexter Season 3, because I've actually seen season 1 and 2 so I wouldn't of picked either of those.

Ah well when/if it arrives I will give it away as a gift.

Were you treated badly? Even if not, I totally understand. Sometimes when you work somewhere, since people generally hate work, they ultimately hate what they do...at every level.
It's like me, I worked for the Reitman's company a few years ago and I will not shop there because it was a ghastly experience. Not like their clothes are epic anyway.

I wouldn't get a Blackberry either. Unless you're running a business or you're a high-up professional, I really don't understand why you need one. It screams of self importance. No offense meant to anyone. Opinions are cool

Anyways, regarding Lockerz, a kid had his BAGGU BAG order from Nov. canceled today. I mean, really? The same kid also redeemed a Macbook last redemption. I don't have very high hopes of him receiving it.

I clicked and filled out my info for the Macbook but I was a bit too late. He gave me some tips though. Next time it's miiiiiiiiiiiiiine ;P Haha.
I want to see a recent unboxing of a computer from Lockerz. Because they've had Macbooks every time and I think I've seen one unboxing. I understand not everyone is that computer savvy or wants to make a video but it'd be reassuring.
