Thread for Mailing Lists

Maybe we need to make a thread for companies that have mailing lists.
I have known people on mailing lists for cigarette and alcohol companies getting freebies like once every few years (like lighters from cig companies and bottle opener from booze companies)

I once had a problem with a bag of M&Ms that I bought and so when I called them I asked to be on their mailing list. about 2 weeks later I got a survey to fill out so I did (i must have been bored) and about another week later I got a coupon for a free bag of M&Ms. so you really CAN get things but I never have from signing up for a mailing list on the internet.



I really think there should be a thread or sticky for just mailing lists.
