Hi Boo,

Having a good day so far? It's cold and damp here but we're all hanging in there, hope you are too.

Something I would like to see would be more "announcements" at the top of each forum from you. Sometimes it's weeks between messages from you. There must be lots of exciting stuff going on. Fill us in more often if you can. Thanks.

As to the thumbs up/down - the idea of thumbs up is great and gives the OP some credit for finding the great deals, etc. but I think the thumbs down option should be removed - can cause many hard feelings and people feeling bad about posting on the site. Some are clearly spam (like the roving fool(s) that create user names almost daily with a long blurp on how to burn movies, record music, etc. and I admit I give a thumbs down just because but for the most part thumbs down can be seen as insensitive to the OP

I agree with leftie. I think just leaving a thumbs up option is enough.

If you don't think it's good, just don't give it a thumbs up. No need to discourage the OP.

Well....... I want to say that as a long time member of this site I have had no big problems at all and that I really like SC and its members. I save a bit and I get a few freebies and I have a bit of fun in the game room, tea room and arcade. I like the support and kind words I have seen and received from other members. I don't like the negative comments but who does? I think the Mods past and present work hard to keep the site running smoothly and it must be alot of work. Thanx mods!! Boo, this is a great site with something for everyone and I have and do tell all my friends and family about it so Thanx!!!
Last but not least there are alot of nice and interesting people from all across Canada and it is great to make friends with them here on SC. Hi all!!

Well, Boo. I think you got some answers and many concerns addressed here.
Time will tell how things are dealt with.

I still wish some of these issues were dealt with through pm.
I have been called several names (good and bad) in the last couple of hours.(msn, pm's, reps)

What don't I like about SC?
Things can be taken too personally, and people get hurt.
People don't think I have a life. Well, actually I do. This is my escape from what is really happening.

I think the site is great. The only suggestion I have (and I think someone posted this as well) is having a tab for certain store deals or having a way to seperate them in a forum. Sometimes I lose a post about a deal at a specific store and I can remember the store, but not the deal.

I have told you time and time again, I never tried to decieve you, the first time I pm'ed you about about the transactions I had NO IDEA one had been denied. YOU informed me of that. The other transaction was from columbia house, I told you I even had a new membership number and all...you can probably even verify that it started the same date I applied through the cash back system. I have only even since being informed that one was denied, asked about this missing transaction. Especially after being told by Sally that that it was IMPOSSIBLE the transaction was not tracked. Other members even spoke up then saying that the same thing had happened to them with transactions not appearing. I really wish the other posts were still up so I could show everyone that I never denied that one of the transactions did not go through.

Today when I posted in a thread made to be about what people didn't like about the site I did just that. I asked about the boxing day flyers and mentioned about the way some mods treat the members.

Sally called HERSELF out on that, not me.

You can clearly see how the entire conversation went down. You can see what other members are saying. How people AGREE with what I say about the mods issue.


Then once again...I get called a liar...I never tried to make you look bad, actually if you'd read my original post, I thanked you!! I said I appreciate the hard work.

I have only stated facts that are right here in this thread. Other members see how Sally treats members, but you defend her completely, like she did absolutly nothing wrong.

Other members see how make me the bad guy in a 2 sided arguement...

I hope that other members will be as willing to stand up for themselves as I am...because it's sad to see the treatment of members of this " community"

I will leave SC...but not because you asked me to, because I want to...because of mods like Sally who get away with whatever they like with no consquenses. Because no one but Boo can be right.

I just wished I got as much support on this thread as I did on reps and pm's, but then again look what voice your opinions does for you...right.

And sorry to anyone who tried to support me on this thread, because now that Sally has you in her sights, it won't be long before you gone as well.

I disagree.I think there are posts(other than the type mentioned in leftie post)that deserve a thumbs down.The option is there for this reason?Dont get me wrong,i dont think alot deserve the thumbs down !I just think when i give a thumbs down,i should have to say why i am giving the thumbs down,and that way the OP can know why and defend there post if he/she feel they should.They cant do that if they dont know what the thumbs down is for.As mentioned,i have had thumbs down on my post,and i was not mad,just curious why i got it thats all.

As a newer member I have no idea what u guys are talking about!!!! I think a private disagreement should be private ...please....I'm having trouble finding the actual suggestions and Boos reponses in amongst the angry posts. I'm not saying u shouldn't have a discussion, I just don't think the public forum is the place. Thank-you and I hope it can all get sorted out. Everyone has something unique to continute here-that's what makes it great!

That'd be cool if you could disable them. Because as it is now.. anybody can post anything they want on them.. and there's no way to delete those messages.. like the way you can for Visitor Messages on our profiles.
