At least a couple, maybe more. We never know for sure when they're coming. I'd bet there's going to be one soon. (keeping my fingers crossed)

Not too soon I hope. Im still waiting for my Optimum Mastercard and I need to spend $50 on the next 20x pts day before I hit 75,000. I think they only have it twice a year average so im guessing spring will be the next one.

When you are shopping with your Optimum points can you use coupons, such as b1g1, cents off and fpc's, Thank You,

I have 67000 and need 7000 more points to reach the 75000. I had ordered some prints and 2 photobooks, and wanted to get some perfume. I'm planning to use my optimum points to get them for free

Any idea on how to 7000 points easily and quickly?

Do they sell Prepaid Mastercard/Visa cards at SDM? Need to buy a gift for a cousin.

I waited a while for mine as well, don't remember how long exactly. But this is what happened to me: I got approved, but I had to call to confirm my identity before they could release the card to me, which they never called me about.

So give MBNA a call, they can look you up, and check the progress of your application.

Depends how much you like advertisements for makeup and perfume.I think Glow magazine might be gone because the Glow site is not there is just links to Today's Parent and Chatelaine.

You can redeem on redemption day event.You're right you just won't get back 5,000 points after redeeming.

I applied first or second week of Dec, they called me about a 10 days ago and I should get my card this week. I should have done this a long time ago.

I am thinking of buying a $100 camera at Shoppers I have 91,000 points to redeem should I buy it on Seniors Day aka 20% off plus $10 gift card coupon = $70 or wait until Bonus Redemption days 40,000 points = $100

Good idea to redeem points on senior day. Let us know if it works, though I don't see why it wouldn't.

If it works, Redeeming on Senior's day seems like the best deal. The up front price would be $80, so you'd redeem 40,000 points for $75, plus pay $5, plus taxes on only $80 ($10.40) for a total of $15.40, but get back a $10 gift card.
If you redeem on bonus redemption day, you'd have to pay taxes on $100 ($13), but wouldn't get a gift card.

I really wish I had read this thread a few weeks ago. When I went to buy a SDM gift card the cashier wouldn't take my optimum card, she said you don't get points for buying gift cards.

If I understand this correctly, I get points for buying a SDM gift card and then points again when I use the card. Also, you don't get points buying other merchant cards unless it's a promo, is my understanding correct?

Yes, that's been my experience. I've always used a few coupons when redeeming points to stretch the value a bit more.
