Typing up a letter to a local hospital here on behalf of my dad. He was badly physically abused by a CAT scan technician and the techinician lied at the inquiry so my dad if doing a follow up letter. Some people are born abusers and they always seem to get into positions of power.

i know what you mean some people should just not be allowed to work in the medical field they take advantage of the elderly way too much i hope your dad is ok

That is terrible, ppl like that should not be allowed to work with other ppl. I hope ur dad is ok, and I hope that technician gets what they deserve (will not post what I think they deserve here bc its not very nice!)

When I was on dialysis, something similar happened right in front of me. An older gentleman who spoke little English was taken off the machine too quickly cause the nurse was in a rush, & he grabbed onto the nurse cause he was feeling dizzy & faint. The nurse started screaming at him that he was abusing her & threatened to have him kicked off dialysis.

Poor man was so upset & his wife was freaking. The nurse then had the nerve to come up to me & complain about how she'd been abused.

I ended up quietly going to the head of the dept and explaining the situation. The nurse was transferred to a diff unit, & the gentleman got an apology from her boss (but not her!).

Ugh, when you're dealing with sick people, you should have some compassion.

I've been putting off painting the apt for 8 yrs, cause I hate the thought of having to move furniture.

I sure hope it all works out in the end.I think these type of peoples good luck finally does come to an end.The abusers will have there day.Sure hope they don't kill someone in the mean time.

Just made the taco meat and have a big pot or beef stock brewing on the stove. NO it's not ALL for soup! I plan(?!?!?!?) to make meatballs and gravy and stuffed peppers. Whether I am allowed to or not is up to who keeps bugging me for stuff.
