So I was wondering how many of you guys went to the Toronto Santa Parade? I have been going since I was younger, and I personally felt this one was not organized at all, probably because it was the first time CTV did it. Each float went by either really fast OR in between each float was a big break and some clowns etc went by and there was no music. Many peopel left after the first hour. ANd santa took so long to come after the last float. I really hated it. CP24/ CTV have been promoting it for so long and the dissappointed me and many others who were there. They shouldn't have over hyped it. And I miss the old floats
But still it was entertaining. Just wish we didnt have to wait for so long between floats.

we watched it.. caught the later half on TV, toddler seemed to enjoy it.. though i didn't like that santa was talking with the hosts.. to me santa shouldn't be promoting anthing or talking with TV personalities he should he "ho ho ho"ing and wishing a merry christmas and waving and connecting with the kids
When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

Well, last year we went to the Brampton one and I enjoyed it (since I've only been in Canada for almost 2 years now, in Feb). We moved to Mississauga today and I was hoping to catch the Toronto one, but we were moving in today.

I did catch it on TV, though! Well, sorta. FIL was watching it here while I was busy unpacking, lol.
They had an app to check Santa's progress? lol

I live on a street where they park the floats, before taking them back to the warehouse, so got to see some of them.
I`m not really a parade person, so this was perfect for me.

I thought it was pretty nice on tv and the kids there seemed to enjoy it. The floats were cute! I heard the samples were great this year too.
I imagine if I was standing in yesterdays chilly weather I might have been hoping the next float came faster though lol
