I think she was being encouraged by some advocates who wanted to use her "celebrity" too. It's too bad because all any parent wants to know is why is my child sick or different and how do I fix it?

I found it interesting because she "fixed" her child through diet change, so what if it was just his diet?

My friend's son has autism and she recently changed his diet. It makes him feel better, like any healthy diet helps an adult feel better and not so weighed down by toxins. A better diet makes him feel better and and in turn more responsive to his family and therapists. But beyond that, it isn't "fixing" him by any means.

This paper makes me so spitting mad for parents who may have delayed or rejected vaxes altogether with all those fears planted in their minds.

I was just looking into this as my DD is 1 and it's time for her MMR. I'm so torn...I know she needs to get them, but on the other hand she seem so young to be pumped full of questionable vaccines.
I have already put this off for over a month. I'm smart enought to know why vaccines are needed but I wonder what are the chance she'd catch measle, mumps or rubella and have them be fatal?? I have never been able to build a mumps immunity and have been given the shot 3 times. I have never caught mumps.
I will end up getting her shots...but I'm still worried!
