Just to show you how crazy this is, I was searching the internet for Stouffer's reward info and came across a reward for $2500 for information leading to the prosecution of the person who was producing fake free Stouffer's coupons.. I was fascinated by the fact that someone could actually do this and horrified too.

Yes you can never be to leary, unfortunately theres a lot of losers in this world who will sink to the very bottom.

Last year there was a girl join Sc, and had up for offer 29 FPCS from Save.ca, it smelled so fishy to me and Roseofblack that after a bit of searching we found out she was on every freebie site peddling these coupons, and had a different story on each site as to how she got them...
So we talked to Boo and warned everyone NOT to trade and banned her.

A week later on another freebie site it was noted that the coupons were SCANNED fake copies (she was asking for 25 dollar gift cards) and that they were contacting the police and everything.

Sooo............... really long story shortened... be very very careful.

Even last year there was a fake maple leaf coupon.. and home depot coupons......

Be careful about trading save.ca coupons too. It's unlikely that the person/people making copies would risk copying coupons from their own account. So just be cautious.

OMG it really happened? I thought the cost for printing the coupon from the printer just doesn't worth it, I mean for 50cent downy or bounce, which I usually ordered from save.ca

This thread really shocks me, these are coupons people, it's not worth it. People are putting copied save.ca coupons in trades? This kind of thing will cause stores to stop accepting these and ruin it for everyone. Think before you think of doing something like this please.

Its been happening for years though, mainly the higher value fpc's but copying 25 cent coupons is some of the most senseless acts I've heard of in the world of couponing.

A quick cheap fix would be Save.ca incorperating a "seal" on all coupons that would be an extra step in the printing process but would provide a quick easy fix.

Arrghhh! this makes me so mad! What is wrong with some people? I mean, order the coupons for FREE. If you need more, ask a friend if you can use their address or come online & trade for them. What a frickin' moron!

I am pretty sure its not stealing but more of fraudulent activity...and can be taken up on charges if the case was found out by the original company that issued them. Which I know is pretty sure you are charged with fraud it is so hard to obtain things after that point.
