And people wonder why cashiers are strict with coupons and don't want to accept certain ones.
Copying save.ca coupons though, that is just pathetic, I feel sorry for these people really I do, stooping that low and all.Last edited by Justine; Wed, Jan 27th, 2010 at 12:46 AM.

That's really not cool at all! I see no point in copying but I know how you feel because I'd feel the same - ripped off if that happens to me. That's totally not cool at all! Thanks for the heads up!

That's so sad to hear. Some people wreck it for all the honest people out there.

In the summer an employee at Pet Valu told me that they were only accepting 3 of the free pro plan tins per person and were looking very carefully at each coupon as people were coming in with tons and tons of them - they'd photocopied them.
I'm always open to trading for pet product coupons (especially free products and high value coupons) - I donate these items to shelters and rescue groups. My motivation - My Dog. Read his story here: www.freewebs.com/michelle_and_dinglehopper

Wow! I can't believe someone would take the time and effort to do this. I am all for saving money but really?!
However, here is something to think about...
I joined this site when I was looking for some information on a MIR. I found the coupon trading tab and found some coupons I wanted so I sent a message offering the same value in coupons they wanted as a trade. I assumed it was a simple trade of coupons on par. I was told that one of the coupons was a "high value" coupon and the trader had been offered 10x the value for it. Has coupon trading become too lucrative? As well, I was surprised to see Gift Certificates on the wanted lists.
I am not criticizing your coupon trading. It is not what I am looking for so I do not participate in it but my question is...has is become so lucrative that it entices people to do things like this?
PS I am not endorsing this action. I thought this would be an interesting discussion.

What the hell is wrong with people? Stores should begin collecting the names of people who use fraudulent coupons and reporting them.

If these were used in trades though, can't you just report the person? I mean you have their address. I understand that the person who traded them may have got them from another trader, but you are responsible for what you trade.

Save.ca is where 60% of all our coupons come from. If stores stop taking save.ca coupons, tradelists will be extremely small in the future.

Wow, how pathetic. I agree with Sally that save.ca should put some kind of a seal on the coupons so you know they are legit and not copied.
