I honestly don't recall what was the first album I bought, but I'd guess it was Abbey Road; the first rock album in our house was A Hard Day's Night (I guess my Dad isn't as square as I sometimes thought he was)
my desert island list:
1) The White Album (Beatles)
2) Let It Bleed (Rolling Stones)
3) Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd)
4) Live Rust (Neil Young and Crazy Horse)
5) Who's Next (The Who)
honourable mentions:
1) Led Zeppelin 2 (Led Zeppelin)
2) Running on Empty (Jackson Browne)
3) Back in Black (AC/DC)
4) Cosmo's Factory (Creedence Clearwater Revival)
5) London Calling (The Clash)
and I'd be missing lots of others!

Been thinking about it, hard to decide, but I think my desert list would be something like this:
1. High Voltage - AC/DC
2. 12 Gauge Goddo - Goddo
3. Street Corner Talking - Savoy Brown
4. Exile on Main Street - The Rolling Stones
5. Tres Hombres - ZZ Top
My first album is another story, can't remember for sure, Rubber Soul - The Beatles was somewhere around there.

I really hate to be a drag on this happy thread, but would it be possible to post the winning words after it was announced on the radio? I just want to plug in the proper word on the Q site just in case. I just don't want to miss out on a chance to win because someone posted a winning word (right or wrong) before it was even announced.
Thank you. Back to our regular scheduled programming...

Actually I have changed my prior position on this. I now feel that...
If the word works, then it really does not matter if it was the "correct" one or not, or if in fact, it was entered early. It would appear that Q107 checks only the first 3 characters of a word to determine if it is in fact the correct word. Thus, if the first 3 characters of a word match, you have a winner. Also, Q107 does not penalize members for entering a wrong word, so even if a completely wrong word was entered, nothing would be lost because you get to try again.

OK then, I guess I'll change the subject.
I'm in rep jail again. So I figured I'd figure out the 5 CD's I'd take to the island. Man, was that ever hard!!! This is what I came up with:
The Wall - Pink Floyd
Abbey Road - The Beatles
Timepieces (the best of) - Eric Clapton
The Eagles - Their Greatest Hits
So - Peter Gabriel
And I think my first album purchase was a Gordon Lightfoot album called "Gord's Gold"Just because something isn't right for YOU doesn't mean it's wrong.

Does anyone have UK winning word slot on the Q website? After I entered-in the last UK word there has been nothing showing for me to enter any other UK ww.
Am simply curious if it is the same for eveyone.
Thanks for your feedback!
